Well You Know How It Is

We are generally under represented in life, and usually never get a chance to have a voice. Well I am making a stand for canine kind, we have the right to be heard and fairly without human intervention. Ok, rant over, read my blog to find out how life actually is!

Ok so life is improving moderately!

Well we have been on a trip at least. And the cat was left home alone LOL!!!!!

We have been to a place called Invercargill, right down the bottom of the island so i have been informed. Anyway we had to stay in the car for a couple of hours when we got there cos 'they' had work to do (i know i nearly wet myself with the thought that 'she' was doing work (use the term lightly i think!!)!!! ha ha).

It was really hot around 28 degrees, so she left the engine running with the air con on for us, i tell ya we were like ice blocks in there! We thought it was dead good actually, especially when you watch (we were in a really good position to watch people in the car park) all these poor souls coming out of hot offices all sweaty, and there we are, 'dogs' with the air con running, bowl of water untouched as we were not thirsty!! blacked out windows oh it was just soooo good to see who is superior here! and humans think they are the superior ones because they have 'thumbs'!! Well, ask mum about that little myth as 'dew claws' work just as adequately!

It was funny when they came to get in it was too cold they left the doors open to let some of the cold out.

Then they took us to the beach, and it was nice there but she didnt take photos so sorry about her inefficency, they were talking 'work' cos he was rattled about something work related!!

B O R I N G!!

and it gets worse!!!!

to add insult to injury they woke us up at 3am till 5am talking about this bloody work issue as well! Do they not know that it is important for us to get undisturbed sleep?

Anyway after the beach we went to someones house called Heather (she is our new 'best friend') We worked on the full 110% charm offensive and won her around, and the others in the family thought we were worthy of some heavy duty attention too!

So yesterday morning we got up from our interrupted nights sleep and were taken for a nice bush walk. No water mind you but it was nice and it was quality 'us and mum' time!! We then went back to Heathers and she looked after us.

I have to say we were a bit concerned when mum left us there as we can remember the last time mum left us somewhere, that was on Gerry and Lesleys boat in September and mum didnt come back for us ever!!

So we were feeling a bit 'uh oh!!! here we go again, another abandonment and nasty journey in crates is pending' so we were a bit jittery, but Heather was lovely, she came and watched TV with us to make us feel better!!!

Mum and him returned a few hours later, so we feel more comfortable now. So, sorry Heather if you read this we didnt mean to be wittery and door watching, we will be really really good next time as we now know mum will come back and she isnt going to desert us like last time!

Anyway it was right nasty weather on the trip home, but we stopped at this place called Lake Waihola for a swim, well Wolfie did more than me. LOL!! Me and Paul had more stick issues we were negotiating so i only went out there a couple of times, one of them was because i wanted the stick Wolfie had!!

Anyway come back and had a mega big feed as she hadnt fed us since Sunday night (back to this fasting idea again i think!)

And then back to today really and i havent done much really and the paper didnt turn up this morning for me to collect so i didnt get my usual morning treat. Not happy!

Anyway till later fans

Simba
